As you can see we have many changes of sound from the different layers we have. We tried to blend the different sounds together by gradually incorporating them all but this still didn't sound right. So we have started again by deciding to begin with a sound that will be our drone as it plays throughout the whole piece. This is a very low, repetitive beat that enabled us to match the next beat. We wanted the music to be quite slow at the beginning as we wanted it to gradually get more depth like the trailer. We then watched our edited trailer so far and where we felt our trailer began to show more tension and mystery we added another faster beat that increased the sense of something changing in the trailer and to the character. I like that the music fits in with the action of the trailer as i definitely think it makes the trailer more excitable to watch and will help engage the audience. With the tension being built towards the middle of the trailer we then decided to lower this towards the very end as we wanted the audience to sympathise with the character more and to make an eery atmosphere. I think this change in sound has contributed to this. To do this we gradually faded out the music so we can only hear a low beat that also fits with the titles and billing block appearing at the end. We have realised whilst developing the music how much difference it makes to the trailer and we definitely feel that it makes it the trailer much more interesting to watch. We have now completed the music and all like the developed version much better. We have still got small changes to make such as loud, short beat sounds when the titles come up but we haven't done this yet as we are still working on some of the titles. This is a print screen of our developed and completed music and I think the change in how much is in the music piece is very visible.
